A native theme extension, with no external server

Novalis Free Shipping Bar is a native Online Store 2.0 theme app extension, installed through Shopify's theme app blocks. It runs entirely inside the merchant's own theme, within the context of their storefront.

The app does not collect, store, share, or process any personal data or merchant data on external servers. No information is ever sent to Novalis Studio infrastructure, a database, or any third-party service — there simply is no application server involved in how this extension works.

What the app does

Displays a progress threshold toward free shipping, calculated from the cart total already available within the store's theme.
Runs solely within the theme, in the shopper's browser, with no network call to an external service required for it to function.
Is configured from the Shopify theme editor: the threshold, colors, and copy are saved as standard theme settings, just like any other app block.

What the app does not do

No collection of personal data

No customer data (name, email, address, browsing behavior) is collected, read, or transmitted by the app.

No external storage

No database, server, or third-party cloud service is used to run the free shipping bar.

No sharing with third parties

Since it has no access to personal or merchant data, the app has nothing to share, sell, or rent to anyone.

No tracking or third-party cookies

The app installs no tracking cookies and relies on no external analytics or advertising tools.

Data ownership

The merchant remains the owner and sole responsible party for their store's data at all times. The only settings tied to the app (shipping threshold, colors, copy) are stored within the merchant's own theme configuration — exactly like any other Shopify theme block — never on infrastructure belonging to Novalis Studio.
